US Ambassador Peter Lamelas has completed the formalities of his appointment by presenting credentials to Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno in Buenos Aires.

The US Ambassador to Argentina, Peter Lamelas, today presented copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, thus completing the procedure that formalized his appointment to the post.

The meeting between Lamelas and Quirno took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"It is an honor to receive him at a time of maximum level of bilateral relations, with the impetus from Presidents Javier Milei and Donald Trump," celebrated the US Embassy in Buenos Aires via a tweet.

"Welcome Ambassador Peter Lamelas!"

The representative of the Trump administration in Argentina is a doctor and businessman of Cuban origin.
